Celebrating History in St. Pete Beach
In 1997, the City buried a six-foot long, 11-inches wide time capsule in front of (then) police headquarters on Boca Ciega Drive as part of the 40th birthday celebration. It was scheduled to be opened 25 years later in 2022.  The items are now on display at the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum.
