Meet Trish, Her “B’s” and Her Blooms
Trish and her four children Brett, Brianna, Braelynn, and Brynlee, her four “B’s, so enjoyed their backyard tabebuia tree that they started selling seeds during the pandemic to make others happy too. Soon they were offering pink, purple, and white tabebuia seeds and tree saplings online, with a free biodegradable seedling grow kit. They became a nursery, registered with the Dept. of Agriculture, which allowed them work with other growers to secure additional plants.
What started as a little online business is now a certified backyard nursery with over 100 different trees and plants offered for sale including hibiscus, Chinese lanterns, bougainvillea’s and more!
“We are honored to be giving back what mother nature has given us. We like to call it ‘nature therapy.’ Nothing is more rewarding than receiving positive feedback from our customers. We hear how beautiful and healthy our plants are and how happy our plants and trees are making them. We have become like family with Corey Ave. Market. It has been a game changer for us. My schedule is more flexible during the week, allowing me to accommodate my children’s busy schedules and make self-care a priority,” said Trish.
Trish is on Corey Ave. every Sunday. Check her out on Facebook at facebook.com/TrishsTabebuiaSeeds. Corey Ave. Market hours are 10am-2pm from Oct.-June 4th. June 11th through September 9am-1pm to beat the heat.
