2- St. Pete Beach October Concert Series Kicks Off
St. Pete Beach is kicking off their Friday October Concert series tomorrow, October 2nd at Horan Park. The first band is Titans of Rock, Tributes to Bon Jovi & Journey. Reservations required. Tickets are $5 for a 10×10 space in the park or $10 for picnic table. Each space can accommodate up to 8 people (included in the price). Learn more at SPBrec.com.
3- Gulfport’s First Friday Artwalk Resumes
Gulfport’s First Friday Art Walk resumes this Friday, October 2nd 5-9pm. Head down to Gulfport’s scenic Beach Boulevard to welcoming some of the region’s most innovative artists for a showcase of creativity and community among the vibrant restaurants and storefronts. The debut event will be themed around ‘Metamorphosis: Art for Hope and Healing.’ Info
4- St. Petersburg Opera POPera- Three Tenors
St. Petersburg Opera’s Our Three Tenors POPera Performance which was rained out on Sept 13th has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 4. The free shows will be at Westminster Suncoast 4-4:30pm and the Museum of Fine Arts 6:30-7:30pm. Tickets are no longer available for St. Pete Side Lot concert. Info
5- Creatures of the Night Opens at ZooTampa
Jump into the Halloween season this weekend at ZooTampa. Creatures of the Night returns to ZooTampa this Friday, October 2nd with spooky scares and unforgettable eerie frights for ghouls & goblins of all ages. The mostly outdoor event will take place for 11 select nights through Saturday, October 31st. Info
