Top 5 Weekend Events March 25-27th

1- Catch a Spring Training Game
Spring Training is in FULL swing in Tampa Bay. Your Tampa Bay Rays take on the Baltimore Orioles Friday at 1:05pm and the Atlanta Braves Sunday at 1:05pm at Charlotte Sports Park down in Port Charlotte. The Philadelphia Phillies take on the New York Yankees Friday at 1:05pm and the Baltimore Orioles Monday at 1:05pm at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater. The Toronto Blue Jays play the Detroit Tigers Friday at 1:05pm and the Philadelphia Phillies Sunday at 1:05pm at TD Ballpark in Dunedin. The New York Yankees will also play the Toronto Blue Jays Saturday at 1:05pm and the Pittsburg Pirates Sunday at 1:05pm at George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. Get tickets at MLB.com.


2- Full Weekend of Live Music & Art with SHAMc
Safety Harbor Art & Music Center is putting on two concerts and a community outreach  event this weekend! Steve Poltz is performing in concert Friday 7pm at SHAMc. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.  Paint the Skate Park Safety Harbor is Saturday 4-8pm at IAN TILMANN Skate Park. This free event includes skate board deck and helmet painting contest -prizes, skate board demos and contests and of course live music. Sunday SHAMc wraps up the weekend with Melanie in Concert at the Safety Harbor Art & Music Center. Tickets are $50. Click here to learn more about all these events. 


3- Art in Bloom at MFA 
Art in Bloom returns to MFA this weekend! Art in Bloom is MFA’s signature spring event which showcases the museum’s collection in full bloom with dozens of floral designs inspired by the art and galleries. Floral interpretations will be displayed in the museum’s collection galleries and gardens today through Sunday, March 27th and are included with admission. 4- St. Pete Beach Spring Concerts in the Park
Head out to Horan Park in St. Pete Beach this Friday, March 25th 7-9pm for their Spring Concerts in the Park. March’s band is Trezz Hombres ZZ Top Tribute.  Bring your friends, family and chairs and enjoy a night full of live entertainment! These are FREE events. 5- Gulfport Art in the Yard 
Local artists throughout Gulfport will be selling their art from home this Saturday, March 26th. Gulfport’s community art sale is a bi-annual event occurring in March and November that is open to all resident artists who reside in Gulfport. It is a grassroots event that is sponsored by the City of Gulfport and organized by a few artists for the benefit of the entire arts community.
