1- Gulfport Pride
Gulfport, a famously LGBTQ+-friendly community, will celebrate Gulfport Pride this Saturday, June 4th 10am-5pm along Beach Blvd in Downtown Gulfport. There will be live entertainment, music and other fun, PLUS a street market with more than 130+ vendors. The annual event celebrates and showcases LGBTQ and LGBTQ-friendly people and businesses, and is a fundraiser for the LGBTQ Resource Center of the Gulfport Public Library. 2- Visit the James Museum
The James Museum is hosting an homage to nature this summer with their special exhibit ANSEL ADAMS: THE MASTERWORKS & CLYDE BUTCHER: AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL. The special exhibit highlights two masters of landscape photography showcasing the beauty, grandeur, and complexity of the American landscape through a series of distinctive, meticulously rendered black and white photographs. 3- Tampa Bay City Ballet presents CARMEN 2022
Enjoy at night out in Tampa at Tampa Bay City Ballet presents CARMEN 2022 at The Straz Center. This new production will feature 28 dancers in a multi-disciplinary fusion of ballet, art, contemporary dance, opera, flamenco-inspired movement, and dramatic raw emotions set to George Bizet’s score. This production envisions Carmen not as a victim, but as a modern woman who is strong and steadfast in her female persona. Shows are Saturday & Sunday, June 4 & 5th 7pm. $68.75/person. Downtown Gulfport will come alive with artists, musicians and art appreciators this Friday, June 3rd for their monthly First Friday Art Walk. Free live music up and down the street.
