1-  Green Thumb Festival
St. Petersburg’s annual Arbor Day Celebration, the Green Thumb Festival, returns to Walter Fuller Recreation Center this Saturday & Sunday, April 23-24. The Green Thumb Festival brings together plant and flower lovers, as well as, individuals and families looking for a fun weekend activity. 2- POPera! Tavern Songs
Whether you are an aficionado or new to opera, you’ll love St. Petersburg Opera’s POPera: Tavern Songs this weekend, April 21-24, at CAGE Brewing. POPera: Tavern Songs is a new musical program from the St. Petersburg Opera that highlights drinking songs from the world of opera and musical theater. 3- Corey Avenue Craft Festival
Head out to Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach this Saturday & Sunday, April 23-24 for the their 18th Annual Corey Avenue Craft Festival!  This spectacular open-air craft festival will feature more than 100 of the nation’s finest contemporary crafters and will showcase a plethora of American handmade wares ranging from one-of-a-kind jewelry, ceramics, pottery, personalized gifts, and much, much more! 4- Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival
Head to Clearwater beach this weekend for the final weekend of their annual Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival. FREE activities for all ages include a children’s play area, street performers, artisans, live entertainment, fireworks, sand sculpting classes, speed sand demonstrations and the master sand sculpting competition. The main show is the ticketed Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit- a 21,000 square-foot tent filled with sand sculpted art crafted by world-class sculptors using Clearwater’s internationally famous sugar sand. Click here to learn more.


5- Treasure Island Earth Day Celebration
The City of Treasure Island is having their 4th Annual Community Appreciation and Earth Day Celebration this Saturday, April 23rd from 11am-1pm at the Treasure Island Community Center and Park. There will be a Bicycle Rodeo with FREE helmets to all participants as well as drawings for bicycles. Additional activities include Petting Zoo with Pony Rides, Vehicle Extrication Demo, Touch-A-Truck, inflatable Atomic Obstacle Course, arts & crafts projects, music by EMCEE Johnnie G and Kona Ice plus food and beverage concessions. Click here to learn more.
