#1 Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival
Head out to Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach for the Sugar Sand Festival from April 11–27th. Celebrating its 11th year with the theme “DinoShores: A Prehistoric Adventure in Sand,” the Sugar Sand Festival will bring seventeen world-class artists to Tampa Bay to transform 1,000 tons of Clearwater’s renowned sugar sand into intricate dinosaur-themed sculptures within a 24,000-square-foot exhibit. The festival also features live entertainment, fireworks, sand sculpting classes, and more. General admission is $14, with discounts for military, first responders, teachers, and healthcare workers on select days. Kids 3 & under enter free with adult admission.

#2 HAIR at Demens Landing
Head out to Demens Landing this weekend for American Stage in the Park’s production of HAIR. Step into a time machine & land smack dab in the middle of the 1960s—the era of flower power, protests, and free love. As the Vietnam War rages on & the civil rights movement heats up, the Tribe, a group of young hippies, is right in the thick of it. $38+.

#3 Spring Fest at The Pier
Celebrate Spring and Easter the St. Pete way this Sunday, April 20th 11am-7pm at The Pier’s Spa Beach Park. This beachfront event will feature live music, family-friendly entertainment & activities, bounce zone, delicious food and the area’s biggest Easter Egg Hunt with over 20,000 eggs! Rockin’ Roller Rink will also be open during The Pier’s Spring Fest.

#4 Gulfport’s Plein Air Days
Head out to Gulfport this weekend as they wrap up their week long Plein Air Days event. Put on by Gulfport Merchants Chamber, Plein Air Days is an immersive art experience showcasing local artists as they capture the charm and vibrancy of Gulfport in real time. Running from April 12-19, 2025, this interactive event invites the community to witness the artistic process firsthand, culminating in a special Saturday Night Market where attendees can engage with artists and vote for their favorite painting.

#5 Easter at DK Farms
Head out to DK Farms and Gardens in Largo this weekend for their Easter at the Farms event. Tickets ($16) must be purchased in advance and are for a specific date, time and age group. Festivities include a Petting Zoo, bounce houses, games and activities. You can even meet the Big Easter Bunny and take photos with him. Add to your experience with great food, goodies & fresh eggs.
