#1 Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of the Beaches
Join the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce as they kick off their Taste of the Beaches 2023 this weekend! For the first time ever, this year’s culinary extravaganza will span over two weekends, starting with Kickoff on October 6th and running until October 15th, 2023. Taste of the Beaches is a fun-raising event providing residents and visitors with the opportunity to sample (1 sample per $10 ticket) the food at their choice of 51 beach venues from St. Pete Beach to Clearwater. Kick off for the event will occur at the first Friday concert at Horan Park on Friday, October 6th where tickets will be available as well as beverages for the whole family.

#2 St. Pete Pier Fall Festival
Kick off the fall season this Saturday & Sunday, October 7-8th on the St. Pete Pier with their annual Fall Festival, featuring family friendly entertainment, activities, food vendors, games/rides, and the area’s only waterfront pumpkin patch which runs through October 16th.

#3 Chicago at The Sound
Head out to The Sound this Saturday, October 7th for Hooters 40th Anniversary Benefit Concert featuring GRAMMY® Award winning band Chicago! In celebration of the Original Hooters opening in Clearwater, Florida in 1983, Hooters wishes to thank its customers and the City of Clearwater for 40 years of support by sponsoring this exciting concert event with net proceeds benefiting the Moffitt Cancer Center and Morton Plant Mease Hospital.

The German American Society present the area’s most authentic Oktoberfest this Friday & Saturday, October 6-7th in Pinellas Park. Enjoy traditional German beverages, dances, entertainment and food including made-from-scratch German foods such as Wienerschnitzel, bratwurst, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, AND Apfelstrudel (apple strudel)! #5 Party Under the Lights
Put on your best country attire and head out to historic 8th Avenue in Pass-a-Grille for their country-western themed Party Under the Lights this Saturday, October 7th 4-10pm. There will be live music by Corn Fused from 6-10pm, with DJ Medik supplying the tunes from 4-6pm. Beer, wine, sodas and water will be available, along with vendors hawking food and arts and crafts. Don’t miss the line dancing lessons 4-6pm! Free.
