#1 Happy Mother’s Day!

#2 Tacos & Tequila Fest

Tacos & Tequila Festival returns this weekend! This waterfront festival will have tons of authentic tacos, premium margaritas and great live music in downtown St. Pete’s Vinoy Park. The St. Pete Tacos & Tequila Festival will feature over 30 tacos vendors, many great margaritas and other cocktail options, many great live bands, live mural artists, cold beer, games, prizes & so much fun!

#3 Rock Around the Clock

Treasure Island is gonna rock, gonna rock, around the clock at their favorite block party at the clock tower downtown TI this Saturday, May 11 6-10pm. While everyone rocks to the music of the Jerry Outlaw Group opened up by Kid Royale Band, downtown restaurants will be offering up a full menu and outdoor dining while other businesses and vendors set up shop to showcase some of their goods and services. It’s an evening to let loose, have some fun, and rock around the Downtown clock.

#4 Hippie Dash 5K

Come together for the grooviest race in Tampa Bay! Events include a 10K and 5K Run, 1-mile Walk, Woof & Roll pet run, and even a Flower Child Fun Run for the young hippies! The Grooviest Race in Tampa Bay is held along Safety Harbor’s fun and funky waterfront!  Enjoy free food and a post-race party! All proceeds benefit Goodwill’s programs. $30+.

#5 Painting in the Park

Bring your little artists downtown for a day of hands-on fun at the Museum of Fine Arts at their annual Painting in the Park this Saturday, May 11 10-2pm! This event will include 10 art and activity stations for kids to create their own masterpieces inspired by the MFA Collection, including chalk art along Bayshore Drive inspired by Mary Proctor’s “Dancing on the Street Pave in Gold”; an archaeology dig inspired by the MFA’s antiquities galleries; a pop-up poppy field inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s “Poppy” and more!
