#1 Gasparilla Pirate Invasion & Parade
Ye Mystic Kreme of Gasparilla is set to invade Tampa this Saturday, January 27th. At 11:30am, the Jose Gasparilla II and accompanying flotilla travel north across the Bay and into Seddon Channel before they come ashore at the Tampa Convention Center (1pm) to invade Tampa and begin their celebration. The Parade of Pirates (2-5:30pm) and Pirate Fest (10am-8pm) will follow after Mayor Castor surrenders the city.

#2 WWE Royal Rumble
The 37th Royal Rumble is set for this Saturday, January 27 at Tropicana Field. The event will be headlined by the 30-man and 30-woman Royal Rumble matches, with the winners of both receiving a Championship match opportunity at WrestleMania 40. $75+.

#3 Pinellas Taco Fest
Calling all taco titans and flavor fiends! The Pinellas Taco Fest returns to England Brothers Park for its 3rd year of taco triumph this weekend, January 27-28th. Their chefs will comp for the Best Taco in Tampa Bay in chicken, beef, pork, seafood & other categories. A portion of proceeds benefit Get Rescued, a Florida non-profit for animal rescue groups.

#4 Classic Black
Head out to The Palladium this Sunday, January 28th 5pm for Classic Black, celebrating Black Excellence in Classical Music. This annual event, presented by the Woodson African American Museum of Florida in partnership with St. Petersburg Opera Company and The Palladium, showcases some of the area’s most talented Black classical performers. $20-75.

#5 CraftArt Members Show Opens
Florida CraftArt’s Annual Members’ Exhibition opens his weekend at Florida CraftArt Gallery in St. Petersburg, Florida. This exhibition showcases the finest contemporary glass, jewelry, fiber, wood, ceramics, metals and mixed media. With hundreds of skilled and accomplished artist members across the country, this show will be spectacular! The exhibit will be on display through February 24th.
