#1 Green Thumb Festival – Free & Family-Friendly

The Green Thumb Festival, St. Petersburg’s 39th Annual Arbor Day Celebration, returns to Walter Fuller Park this Saturday & Sunday, April 26-27! With over 120 plant and flower vendors, “Ask An Arborist,” tool sharpening, kids’ crafts, and eco-education, it’s the perfect weekend outing for all ages. Admission is free, and fun is guaranteed! #2 Hair at Demens Landing

Head out to Demens Landing this weekend for American Stage in the Park’s production of HAIR. Step into a time machine & land smack dab in the middle of the 1960s—the era of flower power, protests, and free love. As the Vietnam War rages on & the civil rights movement heats up, the Tribe, a group of young hippies, is right in the thick of it. $38+.

#3 Pier 60 Sugar Sand Fest

Head out to Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach for the last weekend of the annual Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival. This year’s theme “DinoShores: A Prehistoric Adventure in Sand” will bring seventeen world-class artists to Tampa Bay to transform 1,000 tons of Clearwater’s renowned sugar sand into intricate dinosaur-themed sculptures within a 24,000-sq-foot exhibit. The Sugar Sand Festival also features live entertainment, fireworks, sand sculpting classes & more.  $14/person.
