#1 Holiday Lights in the Garden at Florida Botanical Gardens

Holiday Lights in the Garden continue to spread holiday cheer this weekend! The Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation will sparkle with 1 million, twinkling, LED lights in a multitude of colors. Vibrant laser lights and lighted figures round out their display to wow guests of all ages. Suggested $10 donation. This winter fundraiser runs nightly 5:30-9:30pm through Saturday, January 4, 2025 .

#2 Wonderful Life on Stage

American Stage presents Wonderful Life now through December 22nd. Wonderful Life is a heartwarming 75-minute one-person retelling of the classic holiday story. Join the residents of Bedford Falls, NY on a fateful Christmas Eve in 1945 when angels, alternate realities and miracles change the way we see our place in the world. Wonderful Life is a heartwarming story about the effect one man’s sacrifices have on the people and town he loves. Tickets start at $38.

#3 Holiday Movies in the Parks

Celebrate the holiday season with another outdoor holiday movie screening in St. Pete this Saturday, December 21st! Enjoy an evening filled with pre-movie festive activities, including photo opportunities with Santa, reindeer games, and concessions. Bring blankets or lawn chairs. This Saturday’s movie is “The Grinch” at Vinoy Park in downtown St. Pete. The free event starts at 5:30pm.

#4 Holiday Music at Mahaffey

Head out to The Mahaffey Theater this Friday or Saturday for FOUR chances to enjoy a holiday concert. On Friday they have 2 showings of ‘A Very Broadway Christmas’ featuring musical numbers from some of your favorite Christmas shows, Broadway style production numbers, and even Santa Claus! On Saturday, The Florida Orchestra will offer two performances of ‘Holiday Pops’- the greatest holiday tradition in Tampa Bay!
