#1 Madeira Beach Merry Beach Market
Head out to ROC Park in Madeira Beach this Friday and Saturday for their annual Merry Beach Market Holiday Festival. More than 150 local vendors will offer a diverse array of handmade crafts, unique gifts and one-of-a-kind seasonal decorations. Live entertainment and food and beverage stands will help fuel the festive atmosphere. Concluding the days’ activities will be a fireworks show on Friday evening and the 58th Annual Madeira Beach Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday night.

#2 Wonderful Life on Stage
American Stage presents Wonderful Life now through December 22nd. Wonderful Life is a heartwarming 75-minute one-person retelling of the classic holiday story. Join the residents of Bedford Falls, NY on a fateful Christmas Eve in 1945 when angels, alternate realities and miracles change the way we see our place in the world. Wonderful Life is a heartwarming story about the effect one man’s sacrifices have on the people and town he loves. Tickets start at $38.

#3 Boley’s Jingle Bell Run
Head out to downtown St. Pete’s waterfront this Friday 7:30pm for Boley Centers’ 42nd Annual Jingle Bell Run. The run will feature a 5K lighted path, live bands along the course, a glow zone, snow, glow necklaces and thousands of runners, joggers, walkers and four-legged trotters! Local food trucks, beer, wine, and Boozie Pops will be available for purchase. Proceeds help the Boley Center support housing and services for vulnerable adults, veterans, youth, and families in our community. $40/person.

#4 Santa Arrives in St. Pete
Santa arrives at North Straub Park in downtown St. Petersburg this Saturday! This festive event offers a wonderful opportunity for children and families to meet Santa Claus in one of St. Pete’s waterfront parks. Take photos with Santa and share your little ones’ Christmas wishes. Cameras are encouraged. ‘Meet Santa’ is daily 6-9pm til Dec 24th. Free.

#5 100 Years of Surrealism
Head out to The Dalí Museum this Friday & Saturday for their 100 Years of Surrealism event. In celebration of the centennial of Surrealism, marked by the publication of André Breton’s First Surrealist Manifesto in 1924, this conference will bring together leading scholars to examine the movement’s enduring legacy and its diverse contributors. Leaders in their respective fields who attended The Dalí’s groundbreaking conference in 2004 will reunite to honor Surrealism’s 100th anniversary, delving into underexplored aspects of this revolutionary movement & fostering a new generation of research.
