While several local cities have had to cancel their holiday lighted boat parades due to damages & recovery efforts from Hurricanes Helene & Milton, Downtown St. Petersburg and Tarpon Spring are moving forward with their scheduled parades this Friday & Saturday. St. Pete Snowfest

St. Pete’s Snowfest is back at North Straub Park this Saturday, December 7th 9am-2pm! Join St. Pete Parks & Rec for a delightful winter celebration filled with fun for the whole family. Enjoy thrilling toboggan slides for both adults and children, bounce around on exciting inflatables, and unleash your creativity at our arts and crafts tents. Creative Pinellas Arts Annual & Hurricane Relief Fundraiser

Head out to Gallery of Creative Pinellas in Largo this Saturday, December 7th 6-9pm for their annual fundraiser event. Initially designed as a fundraiser to support Creative Pinellas, it is now changing its focus to meet our community’s very real needs post-hurricanes. With the money raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, donations, and art sales, Creative Pinellas will distribute 80% of the net proceeds to Pinellas County artists and arts organizations. The event will debut “Still Shining,” a showcase of the works of 25 Pinellas County artists, each creating a unique 12×12 artwork. $100+.

Holiday Movies in the Parks

Celebrate the holiday season with free outdoor screenings in parks across St. Pete this December! Enjoy an evening filled with pre-movie festive activities, including photo opportunities with Santa, reindeer games, and concessions. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs. Angel Tree Toy Run

Head out to the Salvation Army on 14th Ave in St. Petersburg Saturday morning for their annual Angel Tree Toy Run 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program has been serving millions of children in need nationwide during the holiday season since 1979. Bring unwrapped new and quality used toys for children; the Grand Prize for most toys donated is two tickets to Universal Studios. Race fees $35+.
