Free Cheeseburgers September 18th at Boulevard Burgers

In honor of National Cheeseburger Day, Boulevard Burgers & Tap House, a well-known restaurant in St. Pete Beach is teaming up with OneBlood to host a special blood drive event to encourage community members to donate blood while rewarding their generosity with a complimentary cheeseburger. The blood drive will take place Wednesday, September 18th from 1:00pm – 6:30pm. Donors will receive a free cheeseburger from Boulevard Burgers, a $20 eGift card from OneBlood, and Cancer Awareness socks.

Spooky Trolley Tour with SPMOH on September 11

Join the St. Petersburg Museum of History if you dare on Wednesday, September 11th for a spooktacular haunted trolley tour of St. Petersburg. Led by Dr. Brandy Stark, founder of SPIRITS of St. Petersburg, the tour takes you to well-known, as well as lesser-known haunted historical places to seek what lurks in the darkness of the Sunshine City! Dr. Stark and SPIRITS have completed over 400 ghostly investigations have been featured on the Dead Files.  If you are too afraid, or can’t join them on September 11th, visit www.historystpete.org for additional dates!   • Medicare beneficiaries, their caregivers, and family members who have questions or  concerns about Medicare and related health insurance topics have a new place to turn. The Area  Agency on Aging of Pasco & Pinellas County will be partnering with Gulfport Public Library to  provide Medicare counseling through the SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders)  Program. On Wednesday, September 16th at 1:00 pm, specially trained volunteers of the SHINE  Program will begin offering Medicare presentations at Gulfport Public Library.  Learn more at https://www.paradisenewsfl.com/free-medicare-counseling-september/.
