October Red Tide Update

A patchy bloom of the red tide organism, Karenia brevis, persists along Florida’s Gulf coast, where cells were detected in 122 samples over the past week. Bloom concentrations (>100,000 cells/liter) were observed in 37 samples: two from Franklin County, one from offshore of Dixie County, six from and offshore of Pasco County, 14 from and offshore of Pinellas County, three from Manatee County, 10 from Sarasota County and one from offshore of Charlotte County. NHL Face-off Concert Comes to Downtown Tampa Oct 12th

The National Hockey League (NHL), in association with the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, will open the 2021-22 season with the 2021 NHL Face-Off Concert featuring multi-platinum band All Time Lowand a special appearance by the Stanley Cup on Tuesday, Oct. 12, in downtown Tampa before the Tampa Bay Lightning raise their third Stanley Cup championship banner inside AMALIE Arena.

Indian Shores Sunday Market Reopens November 7th

The Indian Shores Sunday Morning Market will re-open on Sunday, November 7 at 9 AM for the 2021-2022 Market Season.  Hours for the Indian Shores Sunday Morning Market are Sundays from 9 AM-1 PM, weather permitting. The Indian Shores Sunday Morning Market is located on the grounds of the Town of Indian Shores Municipal Center at 19305 Gulf Boulevard. The Market hosts local Vendors who offer everything from gourmet foods to fine art. The Market is beach close, free of charge, and family-friendly.
