Celebrate World Circus Day with Deb Carson

World Circus Day is April 3rd. Join Deb Carson on that Monday at 7pm at Eckerd College’s Fox Hall for her presentation, The FLO Show, about one of Ringling’s most famous performers. A Q&A, book sale and signing will follow the multimedia presentation. Free.

BECOMING FLO is an emotionally charged historical look at the circus as a safe haven in an era where diversity and inclusiveness were not the norm will inspire anyone who aspires to a life well lived through art. For more on how to purchase the book, email debcarsonwrites@gmail.com

April Publishers Message

We are pet people. Seems like most of our neighbors are too.  Maybe that accounts for the plethora of excellent veterinary talent in our vicinity. Someone recently said she thought you needed a dog, preferably a “Doodle,” to live in Pass-a-Grille. Up in the north end of St. Pete Beach, where we live, there is a lot of variety.

Our son Jordan’s best friend is Albert, short for Alberto, a Coton de Tulear: a cute, fluffy, little, white mop of a dog. He is forever in a happy-go-lucky mood, especially when he gets to check “pee-mail” here in St. Pete Beach. Keep reading at https://www.paradisenewsfl.com/april-2023-message/.
