Pinellas County Sheriff’s Teen Citizens Academy

There are still spots available for the spring session of the Pinellcas County Sheriff’s Teen Citizens Academy! If you have a teen between the ages of 14-18 that is interested in a career in law enforcement, sworn or civilian, this is the academy for them! The academy takes places on four consecutive Saturdays and give teens hands-on experience and instruction on the defensive tactics patrol deputies use, the wide world of forensics, firearms proficiency, and a tour of the jail facility! The first class takes place on April 1st! Be sure to put in your teen’s application soon as this academy fills up quickly and is only offered twice a year!
