SPB Classic Will Impact Traffic on Gulf Blvd

Friendly reminder from the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce:

The St Pete Beach Classic will occur on Martin Luther King weekend, January 13 and January 14. This is the 20th year of this race!

Traffic on Gulf Boulevard will still flow, but will be limited on that Saturday and Sunday from 6 am to 10 am.

St. Pete Shuffleboard Club Celebrates 100 Years!

The St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club – America’s oldest and largest shuffleboard club – is turning 100 in 2024 and is inviting the community to celebrate together.

Festivities will begin on Saturday, January 20, with the club’s 12th Annual Tweed Ride – the most fashionable event on two wheels. This year’s event will be bigger than ever with hundreds of shuffleboarders donning their best festive tweed garb and riding their bicycles through downtown St. Petersburg.

The St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club is planning special celebrations throughout the year, including a Centennial Shuffleboard Tournament in October, with details to come.  Learn more at paradisenewsfl.com/st-pete-shuffleboard-100th/.
