Dunedin Fire Rescue has introduced the MedStat to the community – an off-road, four-wheel-drive ambulance – the first of its kind in Pinellas County! The new vehicle allows quick, private, climate-controlled response in crowded environments, like events. Deputy Chief Michael Handoga gives us an overview.

Save a Life by Donating Blood in St. Pete Beach March 6th

Popular St. Pete Beach restaurant, Boulevard Burgers & Tap House, has teamed up with OneBlood to host a blood drive. With its reputation for serving larger than life burgers and offering an all day happy hour, the restaurant is organizing the drive as a way to contribute and support the St. Pete community. The event is set to take place on August 6th from 1:00pm to 6:30pm at their Gulf Boulevard location. Donors will receive a $10 Boulevard Burgers gift card. OneBlood will also be giving donors a $20 eGift card, and a OneBlood St. Patty’s day T-shirt.

2024 South Pasadena ArtSpring: CALL FOR ARTISTS

Artists are needed to exhibit their artwork in the following mediums: clay, fiber, wood, metals, glass, photography, paper or paint. Sculptures may be submitted in clay, wood, metals or glass. First, Second and Third Place ribbons will be awarded in three categories (artwork, photography, and sculpture), along with the Mayor’s Award and Honorable Mention ribbons. No entry fee required.
