PIE Holiday Travel Guide & Parking Advisory

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) is preparing for a busy holiday season. They want all their passengers to enjoy stress-free holidays and offer these important travel tips. Plan for parking or arrange transportation to the airport.  Their Long-term parking lot will reach capacity ($12/day).  They anticipate both our Key Lime and Strawberry Economy Parking Lots ($8/day) will also reach capacity.  They encourage passengers to arrange transportation to PIEMasks are required inside the terminal under federal regulations.  Free masks will be available at entry as long as supplies last. Toast by the Coast this NYE at Tradewinds Island Resorts

New Year’s Eve Revelers looking for places to go for New Year’s Eve need to look no further than TradeWinds’ “Toast by the Coast” New Year’s Eve Event which takes place from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the TradeWinds Island Grand Ballroom. Partiers 21 and over are invited to don their best duds for an evening of festivities, food, and fun. This year’s live entertainment, the band Motel Funk and Friends, will keep everyone on the dance floor until the wee hours. Students & Teachers to Ride For Free on All PSTA Buses

This week, the Pinellas County School Board approved a partnership with Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) to bring free PSTA bus rides to all students and staff beginning Jan. 1, 2022.  The PSTA Board approved the agreement last week. 

The opportunity is provided by the Universal Pass or UPASS, an agreement between the school district and the PSTA.  Pinellas County Schools (PCS) students and staff will be able to ride free by showing their student or staff ID to the PTSA driver.
