Sea Turtle Nesting Season Starts May 1st
Sea turtle nesting season takes place from May 1-Oct. 31 on Southwest Florida beaches. On nesting beaches, light from waterfront properties can disorient nesting female turtles and their young, which emerge at night and use dim natural light to find the sea. Also, beach furniture, trash and other obstacles can impede sea turtles and their young. See the tips below for how you can help keeping nesting seaturtles & hatchlings safe. See the dos & don’ts for when you are on the beach or in the water at https://www.paradisenewsfl.com/sea-turtle-dos-and-donts/.

The City of South Pasadena are teaming up with 10 Tampa Bay again this April for their annual Cereal for Summer campaign! Help feed hungry kids by dropping off your boxes of cereal and other breakfast items at City of South Pasadena City Hall this April.
