Help Preserve Sand Dunes in St. Pete Beach
April is Earth Month. We can all do our part to help protect the planet and our local environment. In the St. Pete Beach community, one way you can make a difference is by joining the St. Pete Beach Dune Savers. Volunteers are welcome to join to help every Friday 8:30-9:30AM. Locations vary by week. Volunteers will also about native species and how you can help preserve our precious dunes by removing invasive plants. South Pasadena Gets to Work on 3 NEW Murals
Murals Initiative Update After a successful first round of murals in the fall of 2023, three more murals are set to be completed this spring! Artists have been selected, designs have been approved, the walls have been prepped, and painting is underway! The three newest murals will be painted at the following locations:

- SAND BAG DISPOSAL INFORMATION: Sand and sandbags that have been in contact with floodwaters may be contaminated with sewage or septic waste, animal waste, oil and gasoline residue, lawn chemicals such as fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides, or other hazardous chemicals. Caution should be used to avoid direct human contact when handling sand or sandbags. Wear gloves and a dust mask, if there is loose or blowing material. Do not place used sand in or near bodies of water, playgrounds, sandboxes, or other areas of direct human contact.
