420 Festival on 4/30 at The Centre and at Horan Park
By Michael Moses
The Centre @ St. Pete Beach is a medical marijuana-centric education, healing and event center, located at 7525 Blind Pass Road in the heart of St. Pete Beach. You can buy top-quality, over-the-counter CBD products for yourself, relatives and friends, even the four-legged furry kind.
You can also see a doctor about getting an ID to access medicinal marijuana. We had almost 40 applicants one day in mid-March, including a bunch of snowbirds. The law says patients are able to access Florida’s Medicinal Marijauna system as long as they spend at least 31 consecutive days at their Florida address. Call Triverde Health 727-322-4588 for more information and to get an appointment with the doctor.
KUBA en la Playa, the award-winning Cuban restaurant, is serving the public daily from the northwest corner of The Centre. Call 727-409-3009.
The Centre has an everchanging schedule of classes and events. Check the website www.TheCentreSPB.com or call 727-258-2001 for more info.
The Centre is hosting a 420 Festival on 4/30 at The Centre and at Horan Park, 7701 Boca Ciega Dr., SPB 33706, a block east of The Centre. Dispensaries will lead classes; CBD stores and others will be selling items.
From noon to 5pm Saturday, April 30, The Centre@St. Pete Beach 420 Festival will be held in the waterfront park with a bandstand with live music featuring our local favorite Badda Skat and guest singer/song writer Josh Heinrichs. They are hoping to hold 420 related events such as: Best 420 costume contest and a blunt rolling contest, Best of the Bay Awards for Best Dispensary and Best Budtender, a medication lounge (proof of FL State MMJ card required), Delta 8 and CBD vendors, other wellness vendors and demonstrations. And for a lucky few, a VIP experience – 1-hour meet and greet w/Josh Heinrichs and Badda Skat at The Centre. Josh Heinrichs’ brand-new, self-titled, full-length album has officially debuted at #1 on the iTunes Reggae charts and in the Top 100 overall albums chart as well!
