october-movies-in-the-park-2016-posterOctober marks the beginning of cooler evenings and there is no better way to celebrate the end of summer’s heat then by sitting under the stars on the St. Petersburg downtown waterfront enjoying free film classics and music. The fun will take place eachThursday evening in October (6, 13, 20, and 27) in North Straub Park on Beach Drive between 4th and 5th Avenues NE.  As a special bonus and as part of the Central Ave. Solstice celebration, Movies in the Park West Side will be offered on Saturday, September 24th in Sunset Park on Central Avenue at Park Street.
