2016 PARKING PERMITS are available December 10th through the Community Development Department at City Hall, 155 Corey Avenue, Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.—3:30 p.m. For your convenience here is the link to the instructions and application to fill out prior to coming to City Hall.
Parking permits can be obtained in the Community Development Department on the first floor of City Hall, Monday-Friday from 8:00am-3:30pm. Each household may acquire up to 2 of each type of permitted parking decal. Decals are non-transferrable (Sec. 82-202(b), Code of Ordinances).
When applying, please bring your:
- vehicle registration
- driver’s license
- proof of residency (if you are a St. Pete Beach resident)
We accept check or cash.

UPDATE FROM THE CITY OF ST. PETE BEACH (January 8, 2016)
The Community Development Department has become aware that there is confusion regarding the St. Pete Beach parking permits this year. We in the Department want to make the process as smooth as possible, while still enforcing the current regulations, found in the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 82. To aid citizens in securing their permits, please bring one of the following pieces of information, in addition to your car registration regardless if you rent or own the property.
We will now accept any of the following as satisfactory proof of residency when issuing parking permits:
– Voter Registration Card
– Real Estate Tax Bill
– Lease Agreement
– Driver’s license with current address
– Utility Bill with current address
– Three pieces of mail with current address
Also, in the event that a resident cannot produce any of the above documents, the resident will immediately be referred to a supervisor who will assist the resident by looking for other possible ways to provide satisfactory proof of residency that may be approved by the Community Development Director.
