Spring into April with Special Events in St. Pete Beach

Spring is in full bloom, and the City of St. Pete Beach is excited to invite the community to three special events taking place in April. From live music under the stars to family-friendly festivities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Free Concert in Horan Park – Friday April 11

Kick off the month with an unforgettable evening of music at Horan Park! The Free Concert in the Park returns on Friday, April 11, featuring U2.0, a high-energy U2 tribute band. The show starts at 7 PM, but attendees are encouraged to arrive early with lawn chairs to secure a great spot. The St. Pete Beach Fire Department will be grilling up hamburgers and hot dogs, while the Veterans of
South Pinellas will be serving beverages in exchange for donations. With record-breaking crowds at the February and March concerts, this event promises to be another spectacular night of music and community fun.

Fire Department Open House – Saturday April 12

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a firefighter? Join us on Saturday, April 12, from 11 AM – 2 PM at Fire Station 23 for our annual Fire Department Open House.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Meet your local Fire & Rescue personnel
  • Tour the fire station and see where the action happens
  • Learn valuable fire safety tips and best practices
  • Watch live equipment demonstrations
  • Enjoy kids’ activities, giveaways, food, and refreshments
    Spring Fest & Underwater Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday April 19
    Spring Fest is back and bigger than ever! Join us on Saturday, April 19, from 10 AM – 12 PM at the St.
    Pete Beach Aquatics Center & Horan Park for a day filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit.
    Event highlights will include:
  • The beloved Easter Egg Drop from Engine 23 into the pool (Registration opens at 9 AM)
  • Photos with the Easter Bunny
  • A complimentary tree giveaway
  • Bounce houses
  • A scavenger hunt
  • Touch-a-truck
