The St. Petersburg Downtown Neighborhood Association has launched a new project to make improvements at the historic and famous Shuffleboard Club. The “Re-Shuffle” project includes the complete restoration of all benches as well as the large sign in front of the club and the address marker on the main building.
All materials and production of the benches are being donated by Mesh Architecture + Fabrication, Pinellas Paint, and Benjamin Moore. The sign and address marker will be restored by local artist Andrea Pawlisz.
Volunteers are needed to help install the benches on October 16th starting at 7:30am. Tools are also needed if you can bring them. Food and beverages will be provided. This is an all-day project, but partial-day volunteers are also welcome.
