Clothes to Kids needs shoes in all sizes. Announcing “Shoetober” a month-long collection drive for new and gently used shoes. Each year Clothes To Kids provides more than 13,000 pairs of shoes to kids in our communities. Our mission is to provide new and quality used clothing to low income or in crisis school age children, free of charge which includes shoes. Children should not go to school without shoes that fit. Sadly, too many children go to school with shoes that are too small or too big and have holes in their soles.
Don’t be spooked, we need Y-O-U-R help with Shoetober! Sizes we need which would be a real treat: Pre-School Children size 10 up to adult high school (think all the way to adult 15). We especially love tennis shoes and school appropriate styles.
Event: Kick One Back is a fun evening of networking, live entertainment, silent auction, food and open bar on October 20th from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Hyde House. About Clothes To Kids. Founded in 2002. The mission of Clothes To Kids is to provide new and quality used clothing to low-income or in crisis school-age children, free of charge. Students eligible for free or reduced priced lunch are qualified to “shop” at Clothes To Kids. Clothes To Kids is privately funded and relies on donations of clothing and funding from the community to sustain operations. Since its inception, Clothes To Kids has distributed more than 140,000 wardrobes to children in need. Clothes To Kids has three stores. Tampa – 5011-H West Hillsborough Avenue, Clearwater – 1059 North Hercules Avenue and St. Pete – 2168 34th Street South. Cash donations are tax-deductible and can be mailed to 1059 N. Hercules Avenue, Clearwater, FL 33765 or dropped off at any CTK store. All donations are gladly accepted Monday through Friday, 9am to 4:00pm.
