Sea Dog Brewing Co. wanted us to say thank you for the local support and “Cheers to five years! October 31st is our fifth anniversary party. Please stop in and have a pint on us with a purchase of appetizer.” General Manager Charlie Breakiron said. “We now open daily at 8am, serving the best local coffee and developing a reputation for “the best biscuits and gravy on the beach. It’s a 110-year-old recipe.”
In true Sea Dog fashion there’s a Breakfast Club with discounts, and Mug Club members automatically belong. Breakfast at Sea Dog is now served Monday through Thursday from 8-11am and 8-1pm Friday-Sunday. The 18 entrées listed on the current menu are top sellers with plenty of options, and Sea Dog does them all surprisingly well. They have five chefs of various ethnicities so there is always an expert in-house for perfect recipes. Order a chef-inspired omelette of the day, Barney’s Breakfast, Breakfast Pizza or Berry Berry Waffles for $10. You can have a yogurt parfait with granola for $8, build your own biscuit for $9, or the huge Breakfast Burrito for $12,
Chicken & Waffles $14, Hangover Burger $14, Benedicts $12, ($26 with Lobster). Keep in mind that food costs are volatile so prices could change, but the point is that it is an awesome, affordable breakfast. I loved the Lobster Benny with big, fresh chunks of warmed lobster tail covered in perfectly poached eggs and a delicious, light Hollandaise. Renee raved about the Shrimp & Grits $19, which became the next day’s lunch as well.
Care for a drink with your breakfast? Alcohol is served at 8am in Treasure Island daily except Sundays at 10am. Turn your menu over for several special breakfast drinks including Bloody Mary $5, Paloma, Boozy Coffee, Peach Bellini and more. A kids menu offers waffles $5 or scrambled eggs with bacon $6.
If you go for breakfast, tell them you read about them in Paradise NEWS and you will get FREE Kahwa COFFEE or take $5 off a minimum $25 or $10 off a minimum $50 bill (valid breakfast hours only). It is your gift from Paradise NEWS for trying breakfast at Sea Dog Brewing Co.
