Treasure Island, Fla., takes on the starring role in the upcoming season of HGTV’s Rock the Block which premieres Monday, March 4 at 9 p.m. Viewers can tune in to catch the home renovations take place against the beautiful backdrop of the St. Pete/Clearwater destination. The series also will also be available to stream on Max®.
Rock the Block, HGTV’s home renovation competition mega hit, is returning for its fifth season. For the first time in the series’ history, four returning teams will get a shot at redemption as they compete to add the most value to waterfront homes in Treasure Island. The seven-episode season is hosted by popular carpenter, craftsman, and design expert Ty Pennington. Check out the Rock the Block Season 5 sneak peek.

This season’s renovations will mark the series’ first-ever waterfront renovation. Season 5 competitors include renovation aces Bryan and Sarah Baeumler; home renovation visionaries and partners Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas; dynamic twin sisters and real estate and design experts Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis; and billion-dollar real estate broker and house-flipping expert Page Turner and contractor extraordinaire Mitch Glew. Each team will have just six weeks and a budget of $250,000 to renovate attached waterfront homes, each featuring a pool, boat dock and dazzling views of Boca Ciega Bay, and transform them into luxurious homes that reflect their signature vision and stunning design style.
Rock The Block Season 4 delivered a standout performance for HGTV, attracting more than 12.7 million total viewers. Other popular HGTV shows that have filmed in the St. Pete/Clearwater destination include 100-Day Dream Home, Beachfront Bargain Hunt, Beachfront Bargain Hunt: Renovation, House Hunters, House Hunters: All-Stars, and House Hunters International. In Summer 2023, new spin-off 100-Day Dream Home: Beachfront Hotel kicked off its season with a complete renovation of the Sunburst Inn in beautiful Indian Shores turning the vintage beachside hotel into a dream destination.
