- Pinellas County monitoring track of Potential Tropical Cyclone #9
- National Hurricane Center has placed Pinellas County in the five-day cone of uncertainty for the approach of Potential Tropical Cyclone #9.
- Regardless of the storm’s eventual track, high winds, rain, and flooding or storm surge may affect Pinellas County as early as this weekend. Please continue to monitor local weather sources for information on potential for and timing of any local impacts.
Covid-19 considerations
- The Duke Energy Center for the Arts Mahaffey Theater testing site will suspend operations Thursday at 7 p.m. The site will not operate Friday or Saturday. Testing at the Mahaffey is anticipated to resume next week after the storm threat passes.
