Honor Flight of West Central Florida President Bev Frey states, “We are so very happy to be resuming Honor flights after a two and a half year hiatus due to COVID. Our Veterans are so deserving of this honor and we are excited to fly our 41st Mission to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor. We appreciate the partnership with Allegiant for the safe transportation of our treasured Veterans. Thanks to the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport for your graciousness in making the Welcome Home a true celebration. Put on your patriotic garb and join us in giving these Veterans a true hero’s Welcome Home!”
Airport Director Tom Jewsbury states, “We are so pleased the Honor Flights have returned and PIE can again host the community to honor and thank our Veterans. Please join us for this community celebration to welcome our Veterans home to PIE from their day of honor. Our 40th Honor Flight at PIE!”
