Now is the time to prepare as the Atlantic hurricane season starts June 1st and runs through November 30th. Fire Chief David Mixson and Deputy Fire Chief Emery Culverhouse will be holding virtual hurricane preparedness presentations to share information about evacuation plans, supply lists, alert systems, and what to do after a storm event. Members of the public can log in to watch the presentations and will be given opportunities to ask questions.
