St Pete’s Largest St. Patrick’s Day Festival Returns with Two Days of Family Fun and Festivities

Paddy Fest St. Pete is bringing two full days of Irish food, drinks, music, and festivities to Williams Park on Saturday, March 16th and Sunday, March 17th, 2024. From 12pm – 9pm each day, the family-friendly weekend festival will feature live entertainment from popular Irish groups including Dunedin Pipe Band, The Gilleoghan Irish Dancers, and local favorites Chad McDonald and Sean Patrick Walsh. Famous local food trucks like Slammer ShopLaStrada Pizza, and Mini Mouthful Donuts are returning to feed the green clad masses and full liquor bars with plenty of Guiness and Irish Whiskey will be scattered throughout the park.

The event will once again partner with acclaimed local waterway habit restoration charity Ocean Aid 360 to help fund their important work leading and protecting Tampa Bay and inlet waters. Visit https://www.oceanaid360.org/ to learn more about their work.

Additionally, the 2024 festival will feature an expanded Celtic Games exhibition featuring the Foundation of Scottish Athletes with events for the pros and amateurs alike and will cover a 7500 sq ft lawn space. Also, bigger and better this year is a huge set of kid-focused activities at the Modern Shore Insurance Kid Zone with bounce houses, lawn games, face painting and more.

The Tampa Bay Rowdies are among the returning sponsors to Paddy Fest and have big plans to incorporate kickoff celebrations for their season opening match on Saturday March 16th.  Rowdies gear and a youth soccer activation will be present at the event. The Tampa Bay Rays also expect to have a strong presence again at next year’s event with mascot Raymond tagging along with the Rowdies’ mascot, Pete the Pelican.

New to the sponsor lineup is iHeartRadio, which will partner with the weekend long affair to blast the event over the airwaves and bring some of its radio personalities to Williams Park decked out in green showcasing all the event shenanigans.

Backstage Hospitality Tent will be the VIP mingle where VIP attendees can hang out with sponsors and performers in a large comfy tent with private bathrooms and seating. VIP guests can also enjoy complimentary beer and food options provided by expert event caterers Fresh Factory

BreakThru beverage distributors will be leading the way with Irish whiskey tastings featuring Tullamore DEW & Slane, and plenty of cocktails for parents to enjoy at the massive 2-story party deck bar overlooking the stage and entire festival.

Dozens of local vendors will be joining in on all the festive fun, too, with many returning vendors from the inaugural festival this past March showcasing their products. A featured “Irish Village” will raffle off items for the benefit of the Suncoast Irish & Gaelic Heritage foundation as well as the Ancient Order of Hibernians
