Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Eckerd College has a new seasonal course catalog. The OLLI Spring/Summer 2019 Catalog of classes and activities for the St. Petersburg Continuing Education Center (CEC) lists over 39 courses and activities offered during May, June and August.
Designed for people age 50-plus and open to all adult learners across Pinellas County, OLLI classes include topics in biography, culture, film and television, Florida studies, history, music, science, theater and visual arts.

- Introduction to Meditation
- 8 Magicians in Vaudeville
- Neil Armstrong: Boy Scout, Pilot Hero
- The Story of Sun Records
- Medical Marijuana in Florida: A Pharmacist’s Insight
- 50th Anniversary of Woodstock
- Arms and Tactics of the Roman Legions and
- Stay Safe Online.
Most classes and activity fees vary from $10 – $45 for OLLI members. Many are single-session classes offered for about two hours in the morning or afternoon. An optional annual OLLI membership is $59 /person and provides class discounts and other community benefits. Non-OLLI members are welcome to participate in all classes and activities.

sent by mail. OLLI, a non-profit educational organization, is based at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg with a supporting location in Palm Harbor.
