Through Oct. 15 Keepers of Heritage: Hidden Tales

Keepers of Heritage is a collaborative effort that documents, presents and promotes the contributions of Puerto Rican artists in the Caribbean and abroad. Oct. 6-8 — St. Stefanos Greek Festival
$3/day; Fri-Sat 11am-10pm/Sun 11am-6pm; age 12 and under, active military/law enforcement, veterans, age 75-plus free, St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church, 3600 76th St. N, St. Pete. The family-friendly festival is a celebration of Greek food, culture, dance and traditions.

Oct. 7-15 — Taste of the Beaches
$10 per “taste ticket.” Celebrates the culinary scene on the Tampa Bay Beaches. Oct. 7 — Party Under the Lights
Free, 4-10pm, Pass-a-Grille Beach. Wear your best country attire for this country-western themed event. Featured band is Corn Fused from 6-10pm, with DJ Medik supplying the tunes from 4-6pm. Beer, wine, sodas and water will be available, along with vendors hawking food and arts and crafts. Don’t miss the line dancing lessons!

Oct. 7-8 — St. Pete Pier Fall Festival
Free, Sat 11am-9pm/Sun 11am-8pm, St. Pete Pier and Spa Beach. Kick off the fall season on the St. Pete Pier with the Fall Festival, featuring family friendly entertainment, activities, food vendors, games/rides, and the area’s only waterfront pumpkin patch.

Oct. 13-22 — 2023 SHINE Mural Festival
Free, outdoor locations around downtown St. Pete. Fourteen new murals plus a series of Bright Spot community mural projects will be added this year to the 150 created in the past eight years of the festival. For a map of mural locations, visit www.stpeteartsalliance.org/shine-2023

Oct. 14 — CASA Pinellas 2023 Scavenger Hunt
$50 registration, 11:30am, various locations in downtown St. Pete from Grand Central District to Beach Drive. Spend an afternoon making an impact in our community, then join all the other scavengers at Ferg’s at 3pm for an afterparty and award ceremony. Hop on the SunRunner, rent a scooter, or get creative, but be prepared to travel if you want to score maximum points. Register at www.givebutter.com/casapinellas.

Oct. 14 — Octoberfest Indian Rocks Beach
Free admission, noon-6pm, Kolb Park. 507 Bay Palm Blvd. Enjoy live music, great beer, international food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, contests for keg throwing and stein carrying, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle. Hosted by IRB Action 2000 and the city of Indian Rocks Beach.

Oct. 14 — Belleair Bluffs Wine Walk
$30 online/$40 at event, 2747 Sunset Blvd., Belleair Bluffs. More than 60 local businesses will offer wine tastings, live music, food, shopping and fun with friendly people. Visit BayFirst Bank, Belleair Market, or Valley Bank to receive 20 tasting tickets, glass, wristband and map of participating businesses. Proceeds benefit local charities.

Oct. 14 — Party on The Plaza
$25 advance/ $30 week of, 7-10pm, Mahaffey Theater Plaza, 400 First St. S, St. Petersburg. This concert features local band #NOFILTER with proceeds going directly to Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts to support youth educational performances. This outdoor festival will feature local merchants, food vendors, music and more. 727-300-2000

Oct. 19-22 — Clearwater Jazz Festival
Ticket fees vary by date and seat selection, The Sound, 255 Drew St., Clearwater. The Tampa Bay area’s signature music event has a 44-year tradition of diverse, world-class performances. This four-day destination event accommodates thousands of attendees, all against the backdrop of warm breezes, brilliant sunsets and one of the world’s best beaches. Oct. 21 — CRIT Championship Tour bicycle racing
