Nanette Wiser – One of our area’s most prolific and best connected writers, Wiser is the former editor of San Diego Magazine and VP-Editorial Director of Copley News. As a syndicated writer, her work appeared in more than 500 publications. Joyce LaFray – one of Florida’s premier food experts, is an author of more than two dozen cookbooks including… Cuba Cocina: The Tantalizing Flavors of Cuba; Tropic Cooking: The Cuisine of Florida & the Caribbean, and Key Lime Cooking. She has been a restaurant critic, lecturer, editor, book publisher, and consultant for the ever-evolving restaurant scene, a consummate world traveler, and food editor for numerous newspapers and magazines. Her interest in the culinary arts started early in her life with the influence of her mother, a high school home economics teacher, and her father, an IBM executive and self-proclaimed expert on Dagwood sandwiches.
