Through 5/11 – Clue: A Walking Mystery
$39 and up, walks start every 20 minutes on Thursdays and Fridays from 5-7pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 7pm. The walking tour begins at the Straz Center and ends at Armature Works, about 1.3 miles, with stops at sites and shops along the Riverwalk. This English-language adaptation of Federico Garcia Lorca’s first play fuses live music, visual art, puppetry, theater magic and aerial and circus arts into a thrilling theatrical experience. Lorca’s mystically poetic world of beetles, fireflies and other magical creatures is disrupted when a hypnotic, wounded butterfly enters their dewdrop paradise. The festival is a waterfront celebration of food, drinks, and entertainment. 5/10-11 – Mayfaire By the Lake
Free admission, 9am-4pm, Lake Morton, downtown Lakeland. Since its creation in 1971, Mayfaire by-the-Lake has grown into one of Florida’s largest and most celebrated annual outdoor art festivals. Featuring more than 150 artist booths, it is one of the oldest arts festivals in Central Florida, Mayfaire has been ranked among Sunshine Artist Magazine’s “200 Best Art Shows” for 10 years in a row.

5/10-11 – Next Generation Ballet’s Ballroom, Broadway and Ballet
$27-$89, Sat 2pm, 7pm, Sun 2pm; Straz Center, Tampa. This showcase for the diversity of dance is the first ballet created specifically for an NGB spring show. Created by flamenco artist Irene Rodriquez, the performance will explore a variety of regional Spanish dance forms, and feature performances by Rodriguez with almost 175 student dancers. The Shape of Us brings together six Pinellas County artists, each with a unique body of work that reflects the depth of our creative community. The exhibition explores transformation and resilience through immersive installations, intricate textile works, energetic colors and vibrant multimedia abstracts. 5/21 – A Century of Skinner: A Retrospective Review of the Life and Times of E.M. Skinner Organ, Op. 552
Free, 7:30pm, Hough Concert Hall, The Palladium, 253 Fifth Ave N, St. Pete. Celebrate a century of service by the Palladium Theater’s historic Skinner Organ Op. 552, before it is decommissioned at the theater to be repurposed at St Thomas Episcopal Church on Snell Isle.
