March 3-4 — Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in Concert

March 3-5 — Lift Every Voice: New Play Festival
$100 (all access), James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art, 150 Central Ave. A collaboration between the museum and American Stage, the festival will include readings of plays currently in development and conversations and forums with working artists. March 4 — Gulfport’s Pink Flamingo Home & Garden Tour
$25/$30 at door, check-in begins 10am. The 2023 Home Tour takes you through Gulfport’s popular Garden District to view homes with architectural styles ranging from bungalows to mid-century Florida ranch homes. 

March 4-5 — 53rd Annual Gasparilla Festival of the Arts
Free, 9am-5pm, Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, 1001 N Boulevard, Tampa. The festival will showcase more than 250 artists and their work. It will also feature the works of local young artists and a weekend full of live entertainment.

March 10 — Listening Room Festival Showcase
$45/$100 (VIP), 7:30-10pm, Palladium Theater, 253 Fifth Ave. N, St. Petersburg. Hear intimate stories and uplifting songs in a “listening room atmosphere” from Ariella, Peter Mulvey, A Tale of Two, and Jeffery Straker. The VIP after-party will feature The Rough & Tumble. March 10-12 — 54th Annual Pow Wow Festival

$20-$50 (three-day wristband), 9100 113th St. N, Seminole. Enjoy three days of carnival rides, food vendors, carnival games, and live entertainment. Sponsored by the Seminole Recreation Department.

March 11-12 — Skyway 10K Race and Race Expo
Some 8,000 runners race 6.2 miles on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge on Sunday, March 12. Runners have already been selected by lottery, but spectators can watch the race at the Race Expo in Lot 7 of Tropicana Field. The expo, which will begin Saturday, March 11, will feature live music, vendors, food and drink among other activities. Race proceeds support the Armed Forces Families Foundation.

March 11-12 — 48th Annual Tarpon Springs Fine Arts Festival
$5, 9am-5pm, Craig Park, Tarpon Springs. One of the largest juried art festivals in Southwest Florida, the festival hosts over 150 artists from around the United States. FREE shuttle service from Tarpon Tower back parking lot, 905 E Martin L. King Jr. Drive.

March 18 — Historic Kenwood Artist Studio Tour
Free, 10am-5pm. Enjoy two days exploring the art and culture-filled neighborhood of Historic Kenwood where artists live and work. Some 30 artists will present their artwork at 21 stops, giving you get a glimpse of their creative process in their homes and studios. March 21 — afroQuantum Experiences: ArtMaker Talks
Free, 7-8pm, Creative Pinellas, 12211 Walsingham Road, Largo. Virtual at Facebook Live – Facebook.com/CreativePinellas. March 23 — Reclamando Our Narrative Writing Series (Session 4)

Free, 7-8pm, Virtual only. Workshop series for the Latinx community to claim their stories, heal and connect, and participate in conversations about race equity, unity, and advocacy. Meetings are once a month through May 12. The series is organized by Mi Gente Mi Pueblo. March 24 — Arts Legacy REMIX: Global Pride: A Unified Community
Free, 7:30-9pm, Riverwalk Stage, Straz Center, Tampa. Authentic self-expression and experience will be celebrated in this commemoration of the Stonewall Riots. Local talented artists will be featured.

March 24-April 23 — Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery

Comedic genius Ken Ludwig transforms Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic The Hound of the Baskervilles into a murderously funny adventure. March 25 — Dunedin Seafood and Music Festival
Free admission, noon-9pm, Olde Bay Café, 51 Bay St., Dunedin. Friends, family, kids, and pets will enjoy Edgewater Park’s marina views and eclectic downtown vibes. Music will be provided by Steve McNulty, Aubrey Wollet, and Jericho Turnpike.

March 25 — Gulfport Art in the Yard
Free, 10am-4pm, throughout Gulfport. More than 70 artists will showcase their original art in their yards. Sponsored by the city of Gulfport.

March 25-26 — Tampa Bay Throwdown Corn Hole Tournament
Free admission, 10am-7pm, Raymond James Stadium tailgate site, 3401 W Heiter St., Tampa. Sponsored by Shipyard Brewing Co, this is a regional qualifier for the American Cornhole League Florida. More than 60 teams will compete for $7,000 in total prize money. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to the Gramatica Family Foundation. Hosted by ACL Cornhole pro Mike Ferreira. March 29-30 — Rhythm India: Bollywood & Beyond
$55 and up, 7:30pm, The Straz Center, Tampa. Acclaimed choreographer Joya Kazi will present an exploration of Indian music from the vibrant costumes to the “ghungroo” dancing bells. April 1 — Taste at the Straz 2023
$95/$175 VIP/$2,000 tables, 6pm VIP admission/7pm general, various locations in and out of Straz Center, Tampa. This annual eat-and-drink extravaganza on Tampa’s Riverwalk provides the Bay area’s best food, craft brews, cocktails and more while supporting the artistic endeavors of the Straz Center.
