MAKE MENOPAUSE COOL

Article by Nanette Wiser

d’Alene Fallon is shining a light on a subject that has long been considered taboo with a new website and online program dedicated to giving women the information, tools, and support they need to thrive during menopause.  Launched in June of this year, MakeMenopauseCool.com is a resource for information on health, nutrition, and general well-being for women at midlife.

Frustrated by the lack of credible information available about natural solutions to the problems commonly associated with menopause, Ms. Fallon originally created the website at MakeMenopauseCool.com as a blog detailing her own struggles with her health and life as menopause set in.

Her search for a natural solution to her physical symptoms was frustrated by the overwhelming push by doctors, websites and advertising towards medical interventions, which didn’t sit quite right with Fallon.  “Menopause is not a disease,” says Fallon, so I just couldn’t understand why everybody I talked to was so adamant that ‘curing’ my symptoms with hormones was
the only solution.  I knew there had to be a better way to feel good again.”

This apparent lack of options led her to seek out the alternative therapies and healing modalities that would transform her own health and eventually give rise to her RESET & Renew program, which gives women the information they need to embrace the transition into menopause with joy and reclaim their health and energy naturally.

“I want to share everything I’ve learned and help women
understand that they do not have to suffer through this time of life,” said d’Alene Fallon. “I am truly on a mission now.”

Part of that mission is in creating an engaged community of women that can share their experiences and support each other through the changes they are invariably facing.  “Menopause can be such a lonely time for a woman,” Fallon said, it’s easy to feel like you are the only one struggling since nobody talks about it.”   She sponsors a lively online community and discussion forum as an offshoot of the website, as well as a local Meetup group in Pinellas County, which will hold its inaugural event later this month.

You can learn more about how to thrive during menopause and beyond with the RESET & Renew program, opening a new cohort in January 2020, as well as dates for upcoming local events and links to the online community at MakeMenopauseCool.com.
