The Cambria Hotel project at the intersection of Tom Stuart Causeway (150th Ave.) and Madeira Way is entering the next phase which includes major renovations to Madeira Way.
Beginning shortly after the Labor Day holiday, Madeira Way will be closed half-way to through vehicular traffic while the street, sidewalks, medians and streetscaping will be completely re-done.
Pedestrian access will be maintained for all retail establishments and US Post Office. Traffic will be able to enter Madeira Way southbound from Gulf Blvd. and detoured either onto Municipal Drive or u-turned back out to Gulf Blvd. Patrons of Madeira Way shops can park in the former Brown Boxer lot or the lot behind the stores on the western side of Madeira Way.
Signage will be placed along Gulf Blvd. and Tom Stuart Causeway beginning next week to inform motorists of the upcoming work as well as the availability of parking in the lots behind stores.
