Madeira Beach Commission Sets New Meeting Schedule

The Madeira Beach City Commission has approved a new meeting schedule for both regular and workshop meetings. The Commission will now meet at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month for its regular meeting (agenda setting meetings will still begin at 5:45 p.m.) and at 6 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month for its workshop meetings. The new schedule begins with the next workshop meeting currently scheduled for Wednesday, May 27th at 6 p.m.

All meetings of the Commission are open to the public. Social distancing rules, including groups of people no larger than 10, remain in place. To protect the health and safety of citizens, elected officials, and staff, the commission will accept public comments from citizens through an online form, located at the bottom of the front page on the City of Madeira Beach website, www.madeirabeachfl.gov.

Emails will be accepted up to 2 hours before each meeting. All emails will be reviewed by staff and duplicate comments will be combined to save time. Comments not connected to agenda items will be read following the roll call. Comments on agenda specific items will be read following board discussion of the item.

Meeting agendas are available no less than 24 hours in advance of a meeting under the Upcoming Meetings section on the front page of the City of Madeira Beach website.
