Clothes to Kids Needs Donations

CTK welcomes the New Year and looks forward to helping our local families in need. We had a busy  year providing Clothes To Go Bags to school-aged children, in need, in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. Our success means that our inventory is low and we need clothing and shoes. How can you  help? Are your children’s, grandchildren’s clothes and shoes taking over your closets? We can help.  Please donate any gently used clothing, shoes and jackets to Clothes To Kids. It’s cold outside and we  can use them. CLICK HERE to read the full article.

Skip a Week of Watering this Winter

The Southwest Florida Water Management District is reminding residents who irrigate their lawns to “Skip a Week” or more of watering during the cooler months of January and February. According to research by the University of Florida, grass doesn’t need to be watered as often during the cooler months. One-half to three-quarters of an inch of water every 10–14 days is sufficient.
