Living Your Best Life in 2020

Article by Claudine Fle

Welcome back to our step by step process to live your best life in 2020!

Last month, we defined your WHY, your motivation for the change you are seeking to bring about. This month, we are going to paint your perfect day!  It’s a fun and creative activity you can do anywhere.

Like a painter or a sculptor, you are going to create the image of your perfect day. Imagine that things are really going in your favor, what would your life look like? What would be changed in your daily life? What would you keep? What would you drop? What would you add?

As you work on your project, you can ask yourself the following questions:

Where are you? Who’s with you? What time do you wake up?How do you feel in the morning when you wake up? In what state of mind are you approaching the day? What do you eat? Who do you spend your free time with? What activities bring you joy during the day? What do you do in the evening? What are the thoughts that cross your mind when you fall asleep?

Choose the method to ‘paint’ your perfect day:

1. You can write a few sentences. Visualize your perfect day in the future but write in the present tense. Start by posting the date one year from today at the top of your page and start answering the questions above.

2. You can draw or paint a picture of your perfect day.  Start by drawing the background, where you are, who’s with you, what you’re doing etc.

3. Draw a Treasure Map that shows the path that will take you to your ideal future.

I would love to see your creations. Send me a picture or a copy of your perfect day for an opportunity to win one free hour of coaching.

What do you do with your painted picture when it’s finished? Look at it every day and feel as if you were already living that life.  Start telling others what your ideal day looks like and watch how your life starts changing.
