…I am a reader of your great publication I found at SPC piano concert. …I saw your distribution locations list, where it was noted it’s partial….And did not see mentioned, when each month it hits location spots. Thanks for your help..- JZL NW St. Petersburg

Editor- The partial list on page 4 is the only one we publish. Paradise NEWS is online near the 1st. It takes a week to print and the post office takes a week. Most Racks & stacks get refilled 6-10th,

Dear Peter & Renee,

We all recognize why it’s important to teach children about the beauty  and fragility of the natural world around them. Instilling the importance of environmental stewardship in the next generation ensures that the progress we have started will not be forgotten, and that the next generation of environmental stewards will learn to love and appreciate Tampa Bay as much as we do.

Last year, nearly 3,800 students participated in our Estuary EDventures field trips and summer camps, and another 2,435 students participated in Bay Grasses in Classes, which resulted in planting 20,150 plugs of school-grown  saltmarsh plants. These results are outstanding, and we’re constantly striving to involve more children through our education programs – but in order to do so, we need your support.

Whether we’re in the classrooms, in the field, or at outreach events, we’re working tirelessly to provide our community’s youth with the knowledge, skills, and experiences that allow them to understand how we benefit from a healthy, thriving estuary. “We believe wholeheartedly in fostering future generations of environmental stewards to sustain and protect our natural communities.”

– Jordan Findley, Education Specialist

The bay belongs to all of us, and we must all share the responsibility of its restoration and protection; we have the greatest impact when we choose to work together.

Your contribution allows us to continue offering these impactful education programs, and we hope you’ll continue to join us in our efforts as we celebrate 25 years of education.

All new monthly sustainers or gifts of $50 or more to our  “Educate Together” Campaign will receive an official Tampa Bay Watch stainless steel straw (while supplies last).

Thank you, – Peter A. Clark, President, Tampa BayWatch

WMNF just wrapped up it’s Fall Drive. It was a beautiful outpouring of support, with so many listeners donating straight from their hearts. The Last Local Radio station is broadcasting because so many gave. But we ran out of time, and didn’t quite reach our goal. If you supported WMNF during our Fall Membership Drive, we could not be more grateful! Please encourage a friend to step up and donate! www.wmnf.org/support/donate/

These pledge drives are critical to WMNF’s main source of funding —-which doesn’t come from a big corporation or foundation. It mostly comes from you…you who love your radio home and want to make sure you take care of it for yourself and others who love and listen.

If you haven’t contributed…yet…it is never too late to donate. You can give here to make a big difference!  www.wmnf.org/support/donate/

Find your favorite show here! You can also support a specific program by giving through its Tip Jar. www.wmnf.org/programming/

You may also call Membership Coordinator Gene Moore at 813-865-8264. or Please Mail contributions to: WMNF – Gene Moore, Membership Coordinator

No matter how you decide to keep your station strong, thanks for supporting the Last Local Radio… your home: WMNF! – Yours in community, Laura Taylor Development Director
