1) The Easter Bunny visited St. Pete Beach in April! A lot of cheer was brought to residents as the Easter Bunny, accompanied St. Pete Beach’s Mayor Al Johnson, for an Easter Parade through the city’s street escorted. Driving was Robert Czyszczon, the GM of Plaza Beach Hotel on St. Pete Beach in a ‘62 Eldorado Cadillac convertible.
2) Mobile Pantry Hosted by WADA Helps Families Get Much Needed Food
In conjunction with Feeding Tampa Bay and Grow Smarter St. Petersburg, the Warehouse Arts District Association (WADA) hosted a mobile pantry on April 20 where volunteers handed out 7,500 meals and 9,000 pounds of food! More than 300 families received food, including meats, fruit, potatoes, bread and more. WADA is dedicated to being an active participant in helping our community in need and hopes to offer regular opportunities in the future for our members to participate in activities that benefit the community. Rock on WADA!
3) St. Pete’s Sustainable Efforts Continue
Drinking Water Report Now Digital: The yearly Water Quality Report, formerly delivered with the May utility bill, has gone digital! The City routinely monitors for contaminants in your drinking water according to federal and state laws, rules and regulations and reports on it each year.
