Kudos- Good News in Pinellas County

COASTAL COTTAGE – Ribbon cutting – Corey Ave has a new place to shop!   The Coastal Cottage is the most exciting new addition to the Corey Ave. retail scene in a long time. Vince and Jasmine Hunter repurposed the old Five and Dime building on the corner closest to the St. Pete Beach post office and turned it into an eclectic Coastal Cottage Collection of refinished vintage real wood furniture and coastal home décor items, representing 45 vendors. The Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed them to town with an old fashioned ribbon cutting.

Skidders Restaurant Grand Reopening Ribbon Cutting
Doug Izzo & Roxanne Anderson of the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce hold the ribbon while owner Nick Skadiotis brandishes the scissors, his son Ted beside him with Mayor Al Johnson and commissioners Ward Friszolowski and Melinda Pletcher looking on. The Grand reopening followed a complete interior rebuild that was quickly accomplished during the dog days of summer.

Nori Thai Restaurant 10th Anniversary Celebration
Our favorite Thai and Sushi place has an annual celebration that coincides with the owner’s birthday in early November. Employees, family, friends and some special customers observe a Buddhist monk lead ritual ceremonial blessing, and share an incredible feast.
