Through Oct. 31 – Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando

This year’s lineup of 10 haunted houses will include six original concepts: “Spirits of the Coven,” “Bugs: Eaten Alive,” “Fiesta de Chupacabras,” “Hellblock Horror,” “Dead Man’s Pier: Winter’s Wake,” and “Descendants of Destruction.” The event will feature five new scare zones throughout the park. Through Nov. 1 – Haunted Clearwater Trolley Tour

$22.99 adults; $19.99, children 12 and under. Two routes are explored nightly. Each separate one-hour tour will take you on a Haunted Adventure unique to the tour’s destination. Andrew’s North Tour travels to The Fenway, the Dunedin Cemetery, the historic St. Andrew’s Chapel, and more. Masie’s South Tour visits the Clearwater Cemetery, the historic Biltmore Hotel, the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre and more. Oct. 14-31 – Lights at Spooky Point

$20/$25, $15, free (age 4 and under); 6:30 and 7:45pm, Selby Gardens, Spanish Point campus, Sarasota. This new, Halloween-themed light show will transform the Gardens’ Historic Spanish Point campus into “Spooky Point,” where visitors will discover fantastic (but not too scary) creations around every turn. Oct. 21 – Haunted Woods 

$10 for ages 13-plus, 12 and under free, 6-10pm, Hillsborough River State Park. Haunted Woods includes the Haunted Woods Trail and Costume Contests. There will be a Costume Contest both nights; all ages, 6pm, prizes! It is a safe alternative to Trick-Or-Treating! Food and refreshments will be available (cash only), and music will be filling the air. All proceeds benefit the Hillsborough River State Park Preservation Society.

Oct. 22 – St. Petersburg Fire Rescue Haunted Fire House

Free, 6-9pm, 2800 30th Ave. N, St. Petersburg. The annual Haunted Fire House will now be held at Fire Station #10. The haunted house is recommended for ages 13 and older. Family friendly activities include bounce houses, raffle prizes, and trick-or-treating.

Oct. 22 – 2022 Haunted Hike

6-9pm, A kid and dog friendly spooky 1-mile walk through the historic Euclid/St. Paul’s neighborhood, St. Pete’s most paranormal neighborhood, with storytellers, side shows and a bake sale. Tours will leave the intersection of 13th Ave. and 13th St. every 15 minutes. Advance tickets may be purchased at espna.org.

Oct. 28 – Trick or Treat Trails

LARGO – Free, 5:30pm, Largo City Hall, 201 Highland Ave. Bring your little cuties in their best costume to Trick-or-Treat along a decorated Trick or Treat Trail in Largo City Hall. No need to bring your own bags or buckets for candy, members of Largo Parks and Rec will provide every child with a bag up to 1,500.TREASURE ISLAND – Free, 6-8pm, Treasure Bay Golf, Tennis and Recreation, 10315 Paradise Blvd. Bring a pail and enjoy the trick-or-treat trail! Prizes awarded for costumes, along with interactive entertainers, goody bags, trick-or-treating, inflatables, drinks and more. Costume contest begins at 7pm. 727-547-4575.
