Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge No. 291, located at 14020 Marguerite Dr. in Madeira Beach, delivered Thanksgiving food baskets to six families in need. The baskets contained the makings for a complete Thanksgiving dinner including a turkey and all the side dishes and fixings. Gulf Beach Lodge is pleased to be able to bring some joy into the lives of those less fortunate and encourage other organizations and businesses in the community to do the same.
Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge has been an active force on the Gulf Beaches for over sixty five years. Freemasonry is a fraternal organization comprised of men 18 years of age, and older, who are interested in promoting a positive presence in the community and being a part of an organization that dates back to 1717. Freemasonry has counted among its members many outstanding men of history including George Washington, Ben Franklin, Henry Ford, Douglas MacArthur, Buzz Aldrin, John Phillip Sousa, and countless others.
Gulf Beach Lodge meets Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM and welcomes all Master Masons to attend its meetings. Many vacationing Masons find this a warm and welcoming Lodge to attend while they are enjoying the Gulf Beaches.
